King of Kings 3 -- Companions

Companions

In King of Kings 3, there is not just one but up to three loyal companions to join you on your adventures and become stronger doing so.

King

Imamu

You can get a companion called an imamu right at the beginning of the game by following the quest string.

When your imamu has been summoned, you will receive more experience. She grows along with you, but only when she is accompanying you. Starting at level 10, she can sell items from your inventory for you, which has two big advantages: You save a trip to the merchant and will receive 3 times the gold value of the item in Soul Crowns.

Soul Crowns are the soulbound version of the in-game currency Crowns. That means that they cannot be given to another player and that items purchased from merchants using Soul Crowns will automatically be soulbound and therefore cannot be traded again.

If you want to receive more experience, you can adopt more imamus.

Mounts

You can also acquire a variety of mounts, which make travelling from place to place much faster. Mounts range in shape from a horse to a gigantic dragon.

Those are just the more widely available mounts! Some classes can also learn a skill which will allow them to conjure specific mounts.

Like imamus, mounts also grown and become stronger when they accompany you on your adventures.

War horses

The Knight is the only class in the game that can have two mounts at the same time: the normal mount, which every other class can have, and a special war horse. Only when mounted on his war horse can the knight show the full capacity of his strength, as his trusty steed allows him to use special attacks and use unique skills.

Equipment

You can equip your mount with a variety of items, such as a saddle, horseshoes, or a bridle. This will give it permanent bonus effects that will make your character stronger when your mount is with you or when you are riding it.
