King of Kings 3 -- Building houses and towns
Building houses and towns
In King of Kings 3 you can build your own house and choose how you would like to decorate it. Your character's first home will start as a log cabin. You can furnish your cabin with simple furniture such as a single-size bed, an imamu tree, a small meditation lamp, dressers, stools, an aquarium, musical instruments, and much more. Later on, you'll be able to expand your house to a sprawling castle, complete with a four-poster bed, a throne, and the finest antique - a home fit for a king.
Your furniture will provide your character with special bonus effects and allow you to, for example, sleep in the bed, store items, meditate, or plant imamu fruit bushes, which can be traded for special rewards.
Nothing lasts forever, though, and eventually your furniture will be in need of repair. Repairing the furniture increases the energy of the house. When the energy of your house is high enough, you can expand it and furnish it with higher-level furniture.
Later in the game, it will be possible to buy blueprints for building in the legion camp or the capital city. These can be used together with the building materials you've collected to build buildings. Those buildings offer a special service for all the members of the legion or the kingdom and can be improved through enhancement.
Building houses
It's up to you to decide if you would rather build or purchase your house and the furniture for it. To build a house or furniture, you will first need building materials, which can be bought from other players or, if you are a member of a legion, can be collected in the legion camp.
Meditation
Meditating in your home will help you gain experience or buffs. The longer you meditate, the longer it lasts. This buff might improve an attribute, your health points, or regeneration. Higher-level meditation lamps will bring more experience or a stronger buff.
Mailbox
Set up your own mailbox to spare yourself the tiresome trek to the public postmaster.
Storage
You can store items that you don't need to carry with you all the time in dressers and wardrobes. Higher-level wardrobes have more room.
Imamu tree
If you want to have an imamu tree in your house, you need to plant the seeds. Once a day, the seeds need to be fertilised, and on the third day you will be able to harvest imamu fruit. These can be brought to an imamu merchant and be traded for treasure map pieces. Treasure maps show you how to find incredible treasures. Higher-level trees will yield better fruit.
Building towns
Once your guild has become a legion, they will be able to lease land to set up a legion camp. The leader of the legion can buy blueprints from the main building for buildings, which can then be built using building materials. Building materials can be made from the raw materials collected in the raw material areas of the legion camp. These have to be donated by legion members to the legion in order to be used to construct buildings. There are many different types of buildings which will provide useful services to the members of the legion.
