King of Kings 3 -- Advanced Crafting
The forge is calling!
As soon as your item is purple and has 15 stars, you can go to a kingdom of your choice and have it upgraded at a forge. This process can be performed 10 times in total and requires the following materials:
Upgrading your items does not remove their special bonuses.
Sky Crystal
Once you've upgraded an items 10 times as described above, the Sky Crystal is next. This binds the stars you've collected to your item, after which they are no longer shown. This step is necessary to improve your item further.
Flame of Refinement
The Flame of Refinements is used to further improve objects that have been completed with a Sky Crystal. Talk to a kingdom's National Forging Master and add burning stars, known as "flames" to your item. Up to 8 flames can be applied, upgrading the value of your items to unimaginable heights.
Legendary item
Legendary items are extremely difficult to receive and are reserved solely for the best. Beyond the gathering of different raw materials, you must win the tournaments that are held and receive the victor's medals. There are two ways to produce a legendary item:
- Talk with the Orange Token Maker in City of Memories and bring him 100 orange crystals and a "Proof of Victory" (winner's medal from a tournament). In exchange he'll give you an item that allows you to upgrade one part of your gear to legendary status.
- Talk with Artisan Goolwoy in City of Memories and bring him 100 Purple Stone Shards and a "Proof of Victory". Unlike in option one, here the "Proof of Victory" must suit the item, such as a Light God Cup Token for bracers.
Legendary items are of outstanding quality and represent the greatest possible level of refinement for your items.
